Local Federal Member for Burt, Matt Keogh MP took part in the City of Armadales Highland Gathering and Perth Kilt Run on Sunday morning.

The kilt run is a great family event allowing us to celebrate all things Scottish and the diversity of our community.

I ran with Annabel and Nicholas on the new route. Having the hills at the end made it a bit harder this time around.

I did have a bit of a breather though, helping out at the first water point at the end of Jull Street Mall to make sure the more serious runners could quench their thirst.

It is great to see this event growing every year and the City of Armadale staff and volunteers should be congratulated on their excellent work.

This is one of many great events in the City of Armadales Spring into Armadale festival and I encourage everyone to attend events in this years festival.
