Today I was proud to present the Gosnells Community Mens Shed Inc with a grant to resurface their notoriously turbulent driveway.

Ive secured the Gosnells Mens Shed $10,725 from the Burt Stronger Communities program to revamp the drive, making dust bowls in summer and pot holes in winter will be a thing of the past.

The dusty driveway, currently used by up to 60 vehicles a day has caused many a health issue for members of the shed and the nearby McMahon Care Centre.

This grant will enable chronically advancing members to participate at the mens shed without the stress of navigating the current track.

The work on the Gosnells Community Mens Shed is just another way were building a better Burt for everyone.

The Burt Stronger Communities Program provides grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 for small capital projects that improve community participation and contribute to the vibrancy and viability of our community.
