Today I was proud to present the Kelmscott Agricultural Society (KAS) with a grant to increase its technological resources to ensure it can undertake the best work possible in contributing to the Kelmscott community.

I hope the purchase of laptops and software through a $3,607 Stronger Communities grant, will ensure this years Kelmscott Show is the best yet!

The agricultural society has a long history in the electorate of Burt that reaches as far back as 1897 and, while its shows and history continue to be fantastic, its technological capacity has been well left behind.

Improving the technology and software at the KAS will develop the work that they do to expand their community offering.

The Burt Stronger Communities Program provides grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 for small capital projects that improve community participation and contribute to the vibrancy and viability of our community.
