The Liberal Party cant keep their hands off Western Power.

Yesterday the Federal Liberal Government introduced legislation that could lead to the forced privatisation of Western Australias energy assets.

The Liberals have learnt nothing from the Western Australian people, who emphatically rejected the Barnett Liberal Governments plan to sell Western Power at the last state election.

However Scott Morrison doesnt seem to care, and instead is trying to fast-track this potentially harmful legislation through the Parliament without proper consultation or review.

Privatising energy assets is in the Liberals DNA.

Western Power, Synergy and Horizon Power belongs to the people of Western Australia, and must be protected from this chaotic Liberal Government.

Under a Shorten Labor Government, if elected these assets are not for sale.

We call on the Federal Western Australian Liberal Ministers and MPs to guarantee that Western Power, Synergy and Horizon Power will stay in the publics hands.
