WIRRABIRRA PRIMARY GETS MOVING

02 May 2019

MATT KEOGH MP

MEMBER FOR BURT

A Shorten Labor Government, if elected, will commit $50,000 towards new exercise equipment at Wirrabirra Primary Schools Education Support Centre.

This election will be a choice between a Shorten Labor Government with a plan for education, or more of the Liberals cuts and chaos.

This new equipment will be utilised to assist students at the education support centre with their gross motor development as well as improve their core strength and overall fitness.

This equipment will not only have broad health benefits for students, it will improve their quality of life and self-esteem.

A Shorten Labor Government has already committed to delivering the biggest investment in public schools in Australian history, to give every child the fair go they deserve.

This record $14 billion investment will ensure public schools get the funding they need to give students more individual attention and more help with the basics.

For Burt this means an extra $33 million schools across the electorate over the first three years of our Fair Go For Schools plan, with Wirrabirra Primary School and their adjoining Education Support Centre set to receive a total of an extra $800,000.
