NIELSEN: Now were going back to Matt Keogh who had to abruptly leave our studio to go for a division. Did you make it?

KEOGH: I made it. Im back!

NIELSEN: Excellent. So big news this week, your Defence Industries, its a big portfolio for you

KEOGH: Huge

NIELSEN: Yes, you got to have your first trip out on to Talisman Sabre?

KEOGH: I did, so Talisman Sabre is the main exercise between Australia and the US. Really looking at their interoperability. Theres over 30 thousand troops, sailors, air men and women involved in the exercise. Its a really amazing opportunity to get out to. Whats really useful for me in defence industries is to not only go and meet with joint command and those people at the top of the Defence force but also talk to people at all levels and ranks.

GILBERT: Matt Keogh, we are going to interrupt you now, weve got to go to the Prime Minister.

KEOGH: Well okay, Ill take that.

GILBERT: This interviews not meant to happen! (laughs)
