THORNLIE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL COVERED

A Shorten Labor Government, if elected, will commit $50,000 to an outdoor learning area for Thornlie Senior High School.

This election will be a choice between a Shorten Labor Government with a plan for education, or more of the Liberals cuts and chaos.

This undercover area will help house programs for special needs students at the school that require more space and the ability to make noise.

Currently these same programs are being undertaken outside under trees however inclement weather often prevents these activities from taking place.

This funding will significantly improve learning outcomes for students.

A Shorten Labor Government has already committed to delivering the biggest investment in public schools in Australian history to give every child the fair go they deserve.

This record $14 billion investment will ensure public schools get the funding they need to give students more individual attention and more help with the basics.

For Burt this means an extra $33 million schools across the electorate over the first three years of our Fair Go For Schools plan, with Thornlie Senior High School set to receive an extra $2,070,000.
